Two Sister Sciences, Ayurveda & Yoga, reunited and brought together in Europe.
Yoga and Ayurveda were never meant to be separate. Together they become a complete path of healing and self-knowledge — and, for the first time at this depth, a professional training you can study in Europe, in English and German.
A collaboration of Verena Gayatri Primus & Dr. Marc Halpern
OUR MISSION
Bringing the depth back to Yoga & Ayurveda
“In an age where information is so plentiful — yet so often superficial and disconnected from its source — it becomes ever more important to follow a golden thread: one rooted in lineage and tradition, yet woven into our modern lives, guiding us with ancient wisdom through today’s challenges. Back to the roots, back to who we are — our true nature, connected to nature — as Yoga and Ayurveda teach us.”
Both hold so much more.
Yoga is the science of self-realisation. Ayurveda is the wisdom of living in health and purpose. They are sister sciences — and they were always meant to be practised together. For more than thirty years, Dr. Marc Halpern, founder of the California College of Ayurveda, has taught the complete system that reunites them.
Verena Gayatri Primus has spent over two decades practising, teaching, and living it — not in retreat from the world (for many years too), but inside a full modern life as a mother, wife, and practitioner & teacher. This is the heart of the work: not wisdom kept on a mountaintop, but Yoga and Ayurveda woven into ordinary days, so they hold you through everything real life brings.
This work stands within living lineage. Our Yoga roots reach back through the Sivananda tradition and the teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya — the source from which much of modern Yoga flows, and who was himself equally a master of Yoga and of Ayurveda. Our Ayurvedic roots are grounded in the teachings of Dr. David Frawley (Vamadeva Shastri) and Dr. Subhash Ranade, carried into the West through Dr. Halpern’s more than thirty years of teaching. We honour these teachers, and we teach what we ourselves have been taught and have lived.
I am a Yogi who is here to bring the spiritual wisdom of Yoga and the healing principles of Ayurveda to modern people, in everyday life.
No one in Europe is yet offering this integration at this depth. Together, we want to change that — to give Yoga teachers, Ayurveda practitioners, and serious students a genuine, professional education in the two sciences as one. Taught in English and German; online, in person, and in immersive European retreats.
Sister Sciences
Not Yoga with a little Ayurveda added on, but the two woven together as they were meant to be — the map and the tools of a single path.
Real Depth
Education, not entertainment. Lineage-based training built on Dr. Halpern’s curriculum and Verena’s lived clinical and teaching experience.
Lived in Real Life
Wisdom adapted for modern people — so teachers and practitioners can serve their students, and stay balanced and healthy themselves.
The first deep, lineage-based, English- and German-language Ayurveda-Yoga Therapy training that teaches Yoga and Ayurveda as one — with flexible study from short continuing-education workshops to full professional certification.
IN PLAIN TERMS
More than food. More than postures.
A Way of Meeting Students.
If you’ve met Ayurveda mostly as nutrition, oils, and teas — and Yoga mostly as the postures —
you’ve met a fraction of each. Here is what they become when taught as one, and what you can
actually do with them.
Ayurveda is a complete diagnostic lens
Yes, it includes food — but at its heart it is a way of reading a person: their constitution, their imbalances, the season and stage of life they are in. It tells you why a practice works for one student and not another, and how to adapt for each one.
It is the skill of designing practice — asana, breath, lifestyle, rest — for a real person in front of you, therapeutically and individually. Not trauma work, not generic class planning, but guiding genuine, lasting change: better sleep, steadier digestion, calmer minds, and students who finally feel seen.
In short: you stop teaching the same class to everyone, and start guiding each person back to balance — the work that lets you serve more deeply, and be valued for it.
WHY THIS TRAINING MATTERS
Yoga has so much more to give — and so do you
Most Yoga trainings teach the postures beautifully, but stop at the body. Teachers, practitioners, and
studios are left sensing that something deeper is missing — the part that actually changes lives.
01
Teaching only the surface
You know Yoga is a complete science of health and self-realisation — but most trainings reduce it to physical exercise. You want to teach the core and the wisdom, not just the shapes.
02
Students who don’t fully transform
Your students love your classes, yet their deeper issues — digestion, sleep, anxiety, burnout — remain untouched. Without Ayurveda’s individualised lens, you can only take them so far.
03
Fragmented holistic health
Students go to a Yoga teacher here, a nutritionist there, a functional-medicine practitioner elsewhere — scattered, inconsistent, expensive. No one brings it together into one coherent path.
04
Undervalued and underpaid
Despite years of training and devotion, many gifted teachers struggle to earn a sustainable living — because a single drop-in class is hard to price as the deep, transformative work it really is.
05
Disconnected from the source
It’s easy to teach Yoga while quietly losing your own practice — to know a great deal yet struggle to live it day to day, through the real demands of a full life. They practise Yoga but lack the knowledge in Ayurvedic health and life principles to complement their yogic practice.
06
Pulled away from why you began
You came to Yoga for its depth — healing, consciousness, transformation — yet the market keeps pulling you toward weight-loss and “the perfect body.” Meanwhile your most serious students are hungry for exactly the depth you long to teach. Bringing Ayurveda into Yoga lets you teach from your values again — and finally name the depth that sets your work apart.
Gifted at teaching — left alone with the business
This is the quiet truth almost no training addresses: some of the best Yoga teachers in the world have no idea how to reach the right students, position their work, or charge what it is truly worth. The teaching is masterful; the livelihood is fragile. As one teacher put it to us, “that’s the biggest problem between a Yoga teacher and an actual business.” So we build this in from the start — helping you turn deep, individualised work into an offering you can sustainably live from, and finally be paid as the professional you are.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
Become a true teacher of Yoga — in the fullest sense
When you weave Ayurveda and the living wisdom of Yoga into what you already do, you become
more than a movement instructor. You become a guide to health, balance, and self-realisation
in everyday life — where asana and breath are just the beginning.
Teach the whole of Yoga
The form and the practice, the philosophy and the spirituality, the nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset — the complete path, not a fragment of it.
Individualise for every student
Read each student’s constitution and adapt practice, food, and rhythm to who they really are — so they see consistent, lasting results, not temporary relief.
Offer one complete path
Bring Yoga, Ayurveda, and lifestyle together into a single, coherent journey — the “everything in one place” experience your students are quietly longing for.
Be compensated fairly
A premium, integrated offering lets you move beyond the drop-in model — serving fewer people more deeply, with the income and stability that allows.
Live what you teach
Reconnect to your own practice and carry it into work, relationships, and rest — so your teaching flows from lived experience, not theory.
Set your studio apart
For studio owners: become the home of a credible, comprehensive training that retains students, supports your teachers, and distinguishes your school.
Build a livelihood, not just a class
Learn to position, communicate, and price deep individualised work — so that what you love to teach can also sustain you. The business of Yoga, taught alongside the wisdom of it.
This is Yoga in its purest sense — a science of living that promotes health, wellbeing, and self-realisation in everyday life. Where the postures and the breath are just one part of a much greater whole.

A note on qualification & integrity:
Individual workshops and short courses are valuable continuing education in their own right, but they do not qualify anyone to teach Ayurveda or Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy. Only those who complete the full training through all levels — and who then complete a period of supervised field experience under our guidance — are certified to teach this work in our name. We hold to this standard to protect students, the lineage, and the integrity of the training.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Built for teachers, studios & serious practitioners
Designed above all as professional continuing education — to deepen what you already do, and to give Yoga studios and training schools a meaningful addition to their teacher trainings.

Yoga Studios & Training Schools
Offer Ayurveda-Yoga modules as part of your teacher trainings, or as continuing education for your graduates. A ready-made, credible deepening that sets your school apart — delivered with you, for your community.

Yoga Teachers — Every Tradition
Whether you teach Sivananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Vinyasa, or any other tradition — Ayurveda helps you read your students’ constitutions and truly individualise your teaching in private sessions, group classes, and workshops.

Ayurveda Practitioners
In classical Ayurveda, Yoga is the most important self-care practice you prescribe — yet few practitioners are trained to design and guide it. Add therapeutic Yoga as a central tool in your clinical work.

Dedicated Practitioners
For serious, long-term practitioners ready to understand how Ayurveda supports their practice, and to keep themselves balanced, healthy, and steady through every season and stage of life.
Bringing the two sister sciences together — so you can serve your students more individually, and sustain your own practice for life.

When practice becomes life
LIVING SADHANA
Teach your students to carry their individualised practice home — and guide them back to their true nature.
At the heart of this work is a simple idea: your life — in all its roles and responsibilities — is your practice. Not something you escape to, but something you live — in work, relationships, parenthood, and rest.
The question is not only “How do I find time to practise?” but also “How can I adapt my practice to my own and my students’ needs in every life situation? And how do I make my whole life a practice?”
For many modern Yogis, the practices that once grounded them quietly slipped away — not because they stopped mattering, but because life became full. This is where an Ayurveda-Yoga Therapist comes in: helping people reconnect to their health, their individual needs, and their true nature — right in the beautiful chaos of life itself.
Woven together as one golden thread, these two sister sciences become an anchor on the modern Yogi’s journey — a way to live your individual purpose (swadharma) in alignment with the greater rhythms of life & nature.
When practice becomes life, life itself becomes the teacher.
